This web site is dedicated to Kyllikki Falk, a person and artist who lived in Sweden and wished that her memory would live on after her passing in her art and good deeds.

Kyllikki Falk was born on February 20, 1928 in Savitaipale in Finland. In 1957, she married Gunnar Falk and lived in a happy marriage with him in Sweden until his passing in 2002. Gunnar occupied high professional positions as a master of engineering, allowing Kyllikki to choose not to work but to focus on taking care of her husband and relatives, and to concentrate on her love of art.

Kyllikki had no children of her own but dedicated a great part of her life to being a big help for her nieces in Finland. One of them lived with Kyllikki during her time as a university student. Kyllikki was always kind to her relatives in Finland and sent them Christmas presents and money each year.

Kyllikki Falk loved to paint. Some of her favourite motives were landscapes or small paintings of flowers or mushrooms. She had many successful shows in Stockholm and sold some of her paintings during these.

Kyllikki Falk passed away on November 20, 2008, in Stockholm. The remaining paintings in her collection can be seen on this web site. In these works of art, her creativity, her emotions and experiences live on, along with her joy of living, her passion for art and much more.
